"Brand has leap-frogged Duncan fully this year despite the injuries"
Did you all remember Duncan in one of their meetings having something like 20+ boards and high twenties vs. Brand. Come on a healthy Duncan is still the superior player no question.
Come on blow them away. These are the worst announcers, definetely B- in the LA market at best.
I cannot take it :depressed , especially after the homerism for the Pistons = props to them but I saw two fully beatable teams out there tonight. Pistons only team to play any defense at all - so much for Dallas = dALLAS again.

Can't aruge that too much.
Duncan's foot injury has put him behind Brand.
Not DESPITE. That I disagree with.

They meant it as a player even without the injuries. It is 10x worse than Boston, Seattle and all the other homers.
Good I have a new team out West to truly hate! (Not hard with Casell on it anyway)

No way Duncan is anywhere near Elton Brand at this stage.
Stop being a homer and wake up.

:lmao
Why would you hate a team because of there announcers? That's pathetic.
You get to hate teams for the way they beat you in the playoffs, or try to injure your players eg - Utah in 90's, Lakers 99-04 and Denver now.

Ha ha. You guys are crazy. Duncan is the engine of the Spurs. Without him, you have a lottery team. Just because his personal stats aren't at their best, there is this whole other stat people need to look at - wins. Duncan wins more than anyone not named B-b-b-b-billups.

Let me hate who I want thank you - really more a "despise" and I have lots of reasons to not like this team:
1) Casell
2) Caman - don't know why just because
3) Dunleavy - seems like the biggest cry baby out there
4) Did I say Casell, let me say it again, I saw same play in Milwaukee and many times since - great player but easy to dislike (him and Ray Allen were equal opportunity dislike IMO)
5) The kind of team that talks smack with a first year going into the playoffs, they might be able to back it up with a decent series but no more.
Duncan healthy motivated is still better than Brand even at 90% - thank you very much and Brand is darn good.

'Oh me, oh my'
For the most part however.... those announcers gave, Bowen, Duncan, Ginobili, Finley even Nazr their dues.... they weren't that bad.

Yeah, that was pretty disingenuous. Brand is an awesome player, no doubt about it...and not to slight him and the awesome season he's had, but a lot of healthy people will be more explosive, athletic, whatever, than someone who is hurt.
Duh. :shootme

I thought last night's announcers were fair and impartial. They were complimentary of the Spurs style of play. They are MUCH better than the HOMERS of Denver and Phoenix.
