2006 has potential to be the greatest class ever. So many great bigs (Oden, Lopez twins, Hawes). So many great forwards, (Caracter, Durant, Arthur, Thomas, Wright, Young). So many great wings (Buddinger, Ellington, Henderson, Scheyer)...

Only thing really missing is a top-flight, can't-miss point guard. There's some good one's but none that look to define the position for the next dozen years.

Still, on potential, this class is so completely stacked its not funny.

Lawson was looking pretty damn good. Also, Collins turned it on in the 2nd half.

Why do you think Dumars' wanted Orlando's 2007 pick? :fro A 5-10 pick in that draft is going to be an absolute stud. Just imagine if some of the current guys (aldridge, etc) stay in college for another year! I know Joe has had his eye on that draft class.

That's why I'm so psyched about the Hawks pick (top-3 protected in 2007).

If Aldridge and Noah return for another year and Oden, Arthur, Durant, Hawes, etc...all come out early, then the Suns could get a great, great player even around #5 to #7.

If the Hawks manage to land a top-3 pick in 2007, then in 2008 the pick in naked and in 2008, their will be just as much potential for bigs (even Oden, since a one-and-done isn't a given) and more for wings.

My only regret is Brian Colangelo won't be here to reap the rewards of the JJ heist.

Forgot about that pick the Suns got. That deal was just ridiculously one-sided. Looks like Detroit and Phoenix will be loading up with fresh talent in a little over a year. :smokin

Suns have a top-20 pick from the trade this year as well!

Diaw, Jones, Top-20 and a Top-10 pick for JJ's 70 million bones?

Chase Budinger.

6-8, 220 pounds and as good an athlete with as good of insticts as anyone in this class.

He'll likely only be at Arizona for two years. 2006, 2007.

To me, he looks like Luke Walton's all-around skills, but with a better jumper and better athleticism. Lute thinks he could be Arizona's greatest player ever.

He looked like he had a wide variety of tools. Good court awareness.
