Yeah they can, but thats the default for a lot of screens still... so thats the normal design size. When this size is finished Im going to add larger versions that people will have a choice to view.

I have to do this in my spare tiome so it takes a while to get things up and running.

The way the xml is set up it roatates random images for 3-4 seconds, but I can highlight that picture elsewhere on one of the subpages if thats what you ewould like.

Again, this is a fan site, so Im building for me and everyone else, what you want to see, hopefully I will be able to implement it.

I noticed Rasho didnt have a web presence, thats the main reason Im building it. I had to look all over the place for information on Rasho, so I thought, hey, if I can build something and just gather the info myself so other people dont have to do this... fans would like it.

It should start automatically, but you can always right click the link chose "sdave link as..." save it on your machine and open it with windows media player. The codec is Windows Media Video 9.

New upload... not much in the way of content, just layout, a few more flashy ADD things to make it look pretty... once Im done with the overall animation and sound the content insertion and layout will be added... please dont think it will be just boring text boxes... those are there more as placeholders.

Yeah I need to work on it a little, see if I cant make it a little easier to read. Shouldnt be a problem with the larger site like I said but... you never know what complications may arise.

I got that from one of the posters on this thread, thanks to everyone whos been helping me gather info and pictures.. its been more helpful than I can say.

The video is bad because you resized it. Just leave it at 320x200 and the titles will be fine. If you embed it in WM format without converting (re-encoding) it to Flash Video it will be even better.

Flash gets hinky when you try to make it play wmv.. you have to redo it... and the size has to fit in that little box on the 800x600 sizing.

This will be better when I get the higher sized format out... alot easier. And out of the 500+ people who have visited the site in the last few days 50% have it 1024, the other half split it between 800 and 1200... so the 1024 is going to be the most viewed.

I'm just pointing out what the problem is.

Flash cannot play wmv, so you need to find a way to embedd the WM player in the code. I know how to do it in html, and I remember seeing something on the web about doing it in Flash.

But leaving it in its original size will probably take care of the problem - even if flash re-encodes it.

btw which Flash version are you using?
