The Bucks came out with a lot more energy to start the game.

They've been playing well lately, averaging 112 in their last 5...

Is Charlie Bell the reason?

Solid D
03-31-2006, 09:20 PM
Yes, in part. Bell has been an nice floor leader with Ford out. His time in Italian league has matured him.

freedom&justice
03-31-2006, 09:21 PM
They got that lead in a hurry, didn't they? Sheed with a mini-meltdown around that time...what happened exactly?

They've been a lot more agressive than in previous games. Good for Charlie, I hope he sticks because he's a good guy.

Solid D
03-31-2006, 09:30 PM
In college Charlie was quite the defensive player. He's playing pretty well at both ends for the Bucks.

Chauncey hasn't gotten it kicked into gear scoring-wise yet.

Solid D

69-55 Bucks still keeping the pressure on.

Chauncey hasn't gotten it kicked into gear scoring-wise yet.

There's been alot of games recently where Chauncey really hasn't even made a solid attempt to score till the 4th qtr.

Perfect example----7:37 to go in the 3rd, and he's 2-4

Personally I don't like it. I know he's trying to get the others involved, but we play so much better when he's aggressive.

Solid D
03-31-2006, 09:35 PM
Yeah, he didn't score until the final 6 minutes of the game v. Nets.

We're playing the passing lanes, and being much more aggressive on the offensive glass.

Redd is a great scorer, but man, what a defensive liability...

Bucks guards are shooting 71% from the floor(20-28). That is ridiculous...

Seems like the Palace rims always get bigger for Redd. Damn.... but the defense is ratcheting tighter. Gonna be a great 4th quarter here.

What a frustrating game. Everytime the Pistons draw close, the Bucks drop in a few threes in a matter of seconds. Redd has made so many contested shots with the clock running down it's ridiculous.

You mean playing tight D and bricking shots? :lol
Serously, down 3 going into the fourth; Rip's gotta go hard at Redd and hopefully foul him out. We keep forcing turnovers and blocking shots, but can't grab the lead.

Pistons < Spurs
03-31-2006, 09:58 PM
So far it's been Tay and Rip leading us (scoring wise), but Chauncey and the bench will come alive in the 4th and secure the win.

Just a few weeks ago, we were all complaining about Tay needing to show up, and play smarter.

Hopefully his recent play aswell as Dices' will continue through the playoffs, and carry us to victory.

If Dice and Tayshaun keep playing like this, the Pistons WILL be champs in June. Dice is playing his best ball as a Piston (and that's saying a lot). He looks like an all-star out there.

Sheed did that. he blocked a couple of Bogut's shot attempts for 2 of his blocks, I think. He took him to school, kinda like Duncan did to Kwame last night.

I'll take the win......

But that 2nd qtr was bad.

Redd was killin us...like he usually does.

We need to get better on our perimeter D. It is usually one of our stregnths. We used to rotate out much better.

But give credit to Redd. He was strokin it nicely in the 2nd. He often has good games vs. us. It's quite frustrating.

Dice and Tay were awesome. They keep it up, and we will be in the Finals.

Rebounding from Sheed and Dice has been crusial as of late. Ben's been playing much more outside this year gurading more mobile 4's, but our other guys are stepping up!

....but we allowed tham to shoot 52% :flipoff

overall though, it was just another game. We're now one game closer to the playoffs.

He has had some good quotes recently. The "Ball don't lie" against Washington. After the Philly (i think it was) game he did the "Both teams played hard" thing. When Scottie Pippen knocked Detroit's D the other day he said "Scottie must have had one of those Migraine Headaches when he said that". :lol

Flip also had the genius idea to keep 6-5 Maurice Evans on 6-11 Toni Kukoc for like 5 minutes even though the Bucks kept going to him in the post. Just don't get him sometimes.

Honestly, nothing. He does what he does, well.

The big beef is that Delfino is getting no run. Everyones opinion (including me) seems to be that Carlos is better at just about everything.

Evans has been getting PT as Flip is familiar w/ him. Yet Carlos just sits on the bench. He's a better shooter and passer. Has MUCH better D. Is way more athletic.

Evans is getting alot of bad talk while in reality what everyone is trying to say is that Delfino should be playing.

FreshPrince22
