Dennis Rodman took a big step toward returning to the NBA when he had what he deemed a successful workout with the Nuggets on Thursday. "Talk to other players and they'll say that wasn't a 43-year old guy that was running today," Rodman told the Rocky Mountain News. "That wasn't a 43-year-old guy. That was a freak out there." Nuggets general manager Kike Vandeweghe had no comment.

We cann't disagree: Rodman is more freak than man. And while it would be pretty entertaining to see the four-time rebounding champ and the two-time Defensive Player of the Year come back to the hardwood, it would only muddy a crowded Denver frontcourt that includes Kenyon Martin, Marcus Camby, and Nene. Of course, his workouts could also earn him a look elsewhere
