1) Who can and how does one start a vBookie thread?
2) Where are the Battle Blogs?

1) Only timvp and I can start a vBookie thread -- if you have a suggestion on something you want to bet on, you can recommend it and I'll take it into consideration.
2) Battle Blogs will begin in a few days.

I guess my question should have been, how will we know when a thread is a "vBookie" thread and, also, when will we know a "battle blog" has begun?
I just don't want to miss out on the fun.
Oh, and a suggestion on a vBookie thread...the Election.
Thanks for your time gorgeous.

vBookie threads are obviously vBookie threads when you see them. (There's 3 of them in the football forum right now.) If we do a political one, we'll sticky it to the top of the Political Forum.
We will unveil the Battle Blog forum (it's invisible to everyone right now) when the Battle Blogging is ready to commence.

Read the announcement that's been locked to the top of every forum for the last few days. It has the details, prize amounts, etc.

I want to set up a vBookie for the next debate ... however, is there a publication that has legitimate debate polling results? It seems as if nearly all polls can be spun one way or the other.
Any suggestions.

Probably not, LJ. You're right about any poll being spun one way or the other depending on who they actually talk to.
BTW, sign me up to be a Battle Blog Judge.

Um Mr getting his college degree boy, if you didn't have your head up it you would know that the judges are supposed to be anonymous, and if you want to be one you are supposed to email TimVP. Way to go slick.
I'd officially like to request that Blaze not be allowed to judge any of my blog battles since he doesn't seem to have adequate reading skills.

Me? A judge? Bwahahaha. What in the world would give you that idea? I tend to be one who likes to argue...not sit on my fatass judging.
I just have the rare ability to read announcements posted at the top of the forum.....and I intend to argue in those blogs, and would prefer the judge to have limited reading ability, which obviously Blaze doesn't.

Whottt,
Remember that the battle blogs are limited by a certain word count. :spin

Limited as opposed to none at all :).
RVB, yeah I've been worried about that word count thingie. I think the wear down tactic is extremely effective in winning message board arguments or at least giving one the feeling of victory..plus I like to leave my opponents smarter than they were before they argued with me(which isn't hard since they must be pretty stupid to argue with me in the first place :))...I think I can pull it off though, have you ever seen one of my movie reviews?

I haven't had the pleasure ;)
Do you have a pointer to some of your movie reviews?

Don't want me to be a judge. Fine.
