It is ironic that the 3 teams fighting for the last playoff spot, Sacto, Utah and New Orleans/Oklahoma City are playing Dallas, San Antonio and Detroit, the 3 best teams in the league, repectively tonight.
Best case scenario:
Dallas wins, SA wins and Oklahoma City wins.
The reason why I want Dallas to win is because I want Oklahoma City to get 8th spot. For 3 reasons.
1. I have a bet with TPark that Utah misses playoffs. :smokin
2. I think SA will sweep Oklahoma City in rd 1 , because the will be wide eyed and inexperienced, and really just happy to be there. :smokin
3. The traveling to Oklahoma is rd 1 is much easier than traveling to the West coast. :smokin
...the 3 best teams in the league, repectively tonight.
I like the logic of your desire to have NO/OK in the 8th spot, but SA, Dallas & Detroit are currently 3 of the 4 best teams in the league. Currently I would say NJ is better than Dallas.

Sacramento needs to lose. I don't see the Lakers missing the playoffs but until it's actually post-season, I'm hoping for any padding that we can get.

Well at least this will keep you from your "Detroit is getting killed by the Hornets" post.

If Detroit is down 14 in the 3rd Q, I will start that thread...no doubt about it.

Might want to consider making that the 4th Q, since that is when the Pistons do their best work.

It's not ironic. It's an unusual, improbabable co-incidence.
All the WC 8th chasers will lose tonight. That's very probable. 8th seed is wide open.
Kings are in the first game of its "Texas 2-stomp"
Jazz do the same 2-stomp the 16th,17th.

That's because the bravatar girls were divided. Hell, half of them bet on Florida.
We are 7-1 in games we've united on.
