Until Randy Johnson gets 9 hits in on Robin Ventura it's Nolan all the way.

Randy is a great pitcher and a great person. Seattle ruined their franchise by letting him go away.

Doesn't make him the best of all time. As for the great person part, ask his daughter if she thinks he is a great person.

Rany Johnson is an amazing pitcher, and the only one I've ever seen that I'd put in Nolan's class - his 2001 series was amazing - but Nolan was a dominant pitcher for the entire 70's, 80's, and the beginning of the 90's. To have 7 no-hitters when the guy second on the list has 4 is ridiculous. I wish I could have seen Koufax and Gibson, because they sound a lot like Nolan.

My favorite pitcher of all-time is Steve Carlton. My second favorite was Tom Seaver.

But imo, the GOAT is Sandy Koufax.

RJ might be the best lefty of all time, but Nolan it's tops overall.
