Tonight is the night for a huge statement game. Spurs have to show that HCA is ours in the West and that Dallas are and have always been our bitches. With a big win tonight, we can go into the playoffs with high hopes, we'll have nothing else to prove till the playoffs.

whatever...

I agree though, but I'm not gonna freak out if they lose.

I feel confident the Spurs will want to come out and prove something.

It's only a statement game if you win. If you lose, it's just 1 of 82...

Whoever wins BIG tonight is making a statement.

It's only big if the Mavs end up with HC. If not, what does it really mean?

I could understand it having more meaning to the Mavs, but I don't see the Spurs needing to make a statement...

it's just a game. a regular season game. we made a statement last year in our last game vs mavs too. hopefully this one is different.

statement games are overrated. the only statement that counts in the playoffs.

wrong. Sometimes a good statement game will stay in the player's minds during playoffs. Especially if the mind is weak like Mav's players :lol

Simply because they already have the hardware. They don't have to prove anything to anyone. That statement/proving time will be soon upon us...

The Mavs, on the other hand, may need this game to boost thier psyche...

nah, Spurs aren't even gonna stoop to try.
The season's over for the Spurs.
They be fucking around til the playoffs.
Then we'll see if they can find their Championship game again.

The only statement the Spurs are making is that they give a shit about the regular season and HCA.

Dallas should win tonight, but they still won't catch San Antonio in the West.

Their lax attitude about HCA will catch up to them in the Finals--if they even make it there.

I'm not saying the Spurs won't win, I'm just saying it's not a statement game...
