View Full Version : Does tim want to play?

I read in some post that it was always Timmy's fault when we lost, but in my opinion, and as awful as he might have played last night, I don't think we would have been in the game at the end (given the superb effort by the Mavs). I seriously believe he just had an off-night (I have to believe that...), we all know that he has, and can make many of those shots he took (I'm specially wondering about the bank-shot, what's up with that? he used to make that shit like nothing...well it'll come back). we all know Tim is having to play while injured, and we have no choice but to keep playing Tim. I mean who seriously thinks that we're gonna go anywhere without Tim? even as hobbled as he is. So I basically just think that he had an off-night, he's hobbled but this was clearly just one of those nights that every MVP player has once in a while. yes i know that Tim has had a couple of those nights once too often but if anyone can take us to the promised land once again, he wears number 21 for the Spurs.
Let's just hold the fort together, Tim will play better, and he'll come back stronger than ever next season. You just watch :-)

Tim did have an off night, but isn't there room for concern?
Tim's "off nights" have increase a lot.

Yes i agree, and you could watch it, when the game was finished and you watched the timīs face and he could feel he was not playing as he want, as i say before i REALLY felt bad for him because i could feel he was so frustrated, he needs the help of his temmates and coaches

I watched the game last night against the Mavs and tim did not even look interested he had no intensity, like he was bored. He should wake up or he wont have a prayer of a chance to repeat the Championship.
I want as a Pistons fan to be able to play the SAS for the championship because of what happened last year, I still am disappointed, it could have easily been the Pistons repeating the championship and threepeating this year. Payback is due and the pistons WILL be Champs again.
Tell your Timmy to wake his ass up and make it to the finals so the true champions can be crowned. :fro

Tim has been fighting that foot problem most of the year.
Two or three weeks ago, he came down with a bad case of flu.
This past week, he has been fighting flu symptoms again.
Yet he is on the court every night putting in 35 minutes or so.
So to answer your question, I would say Yeah, he definitely wants to play. Otherwise he would just have told Pop to sit him until he felt better.

No tim doesn't want to play. It's been painfully obvious all year that he doesn't give a shit about basketball. I know

According to that logic we could also be playing for our fourth in a row, heck actually our 8th 'ship in a row, if only those pesky Lakers had not gotten to four wins before we did.
