Pop said on the news that Manu will not play tommorow because he got kicked in the shin and thigh like three times. Manu can't seem to get a break from injuries this year along with Tim suffering from his PF :depressed .

The Spurs will destroy the Grizzlies tomorrow. With or without Manu.

The Spurs will not lose 3 in a row at home.

Yes i dont think spurs can lose again, i think TIM is going to kill them, because he has been always the MVP and he is going to prove it.

:tu My sentiments exactly. I expect Parker to go crazy tommorow...especially since hasn't been playing his best these past 2 games, and he knows with manu out he needs to step up. Also, Duncan with a 20 and 10 night.

Manu usually struggles against the Grizzlies anyways.

I think it's hysterical how some people have been bitching that Manu hasn't played well all season, and yet there is no way we can beat the Grizz without him. :lol

This is more likely to be gasol's numbers

:lol That's what makes this forum so fun and interesting. Same could be said if Tim Duncan weren't playing tommorow...then all those "Does Tim Duncan really want to play?" or "Is Tim Duncan finished?" threads would close down.

Actually, Spurs have to watch out for him. He's been playing really good lately.

Sidenote: That guy reminds me of a Yetti, like he's spent the last 10 years living in the mountains fighting off bears, building fire with sticks, all by his lonesome self...he really needs to shave. :lol

LOL, i can't believe a SPURS fan said this...but thanks, it's what I was thinking. Manu is so susceptible to either hurting other players or getting hurt himself, he needs to chill a bit with the flopping.

Don't count on it. It's up to Tony to win it for us.

I don't normally mind, but not only was that flop last night on Stackhouse NOT a foul, but Manu got injured in the process....

oh my god oh my god oh my god. Manu is out, Tony has a thing around his leg, Tim still has the flu, Beno is a baby who can't deal with a sprained ankle, Nick has a bad elbow, we're going to lose a third game, the mavs are going to win all the rest of theirs, win the west, and the Spurs fail. But yes. Please get better manu. Watch some Time Warner or something. Have faith!

please beat the Grizzlies....

the Nuggets are falling behind for homecourt and i for one dont want to see the nugs vs Clips in the 1st round

the grizzlies are only .5 behind the Clips for that 5th spot

Playing the Big 3 vs Kings on b2b was Brilliant.

Oh well. Someone posted a chart of the standings of Spurs and Mavs with 7 games to go for the last 5 years. It's the same thing.

Spurs shall prevail.

Shouldn't they have had that "destroy" attitude after the Sacramento loss?

The Spurs don't have that in them anymore, that pride after a losing a game to come back and kill the next opponent.

I think the mountain man look is kinda cool. THe beard look makes him look like an apostle.
Before the beard he looked like a boy. I think our team is copying him, and at the end of April they will all be mountain men and scare the hell out of their playoff opponents.

I never thought that the Spurs had to win, not to just shut up their haters, but to shut up their own goddamn pussy fans. Talk about not keepin' the faith in your team. The mavs loss wasn't even a bad one unlike the kings one. They fought to the last minute, the game just didnt' go our way.

Also, our bench WILL show up as well tomorrow!

I feel good about our team because they are not one-dimensional.

Anyone can show up! The SPURS will respond positively tomorrow.

You heard it here, Nazr and Finley will have a positive effect on the outcome!

didn't howard re-injure himself kicking manu in the shins?

spurschick

What does flopping have to do with him getting kicked in the shins? Flopping would mean he fell backwards. His injury is on the front of his leg.

So-- who starts?? I think they want to keep Finley in his rhythm coming off the bench. So, Barry??

didn't howard re-injure himself kicking manu in the shins?
no, he reinjured himself by slipping, and doing the splits in the process, and his back leg inadvertantly, and BARELY caught Manu, who flopped again of course. you know that. dont twist stuff.

I'm going to miss seeing Gino play but I am glad he gets the rest.

Beno has been warming up the last couple of games. Maybe he'll get back in today. :)

i hope no!

Ginobili is simply out of date, Duncan is injuried for 3 years now, and still pumping the spurs to their best, Ginobili is the weak link, i would bench him for the play off!

dude what is the matter with you? Did he turn you down for an autograph? Refuse to date your sister? What the fuck?

not at all, just lucidity along the season, this guy sucks for so long, and don't show any sighs of rebirth!

the worst thing would be thinking he could do what he wasn't able to do along the season, coming back at his best, in play off, but pop will not makes this error as lots of gino mongers here!

:oops
hey jackass, he has the third highest scoring average in the team moron! why would you bench him for the playoffs?? lucidity??

admit it! You are a fucking hater Frenchie!
