Just saw this for the first time yesterday, and it's the most moving film I've seen since Hotel Rwanda. Had to recommend it to anyone who has not seen it.

Indeed an awesome movie. I saw it awhile back because Baseline Bum kept pimping it.

I saw it about three years ago after I heard about it and got it with my Netflix.

Yep. One of the best movies I've ever seen.

If you get the Sundance Channel, you should also check out the miniseries City of Men. Same location, similar characters and theme, very well written.

I don't if it's just me but the show seems like it was cut at a faster pace than the movie. I had trouble keeping up because the subtitles change so quickly. But overall, the show is almost as good as the movie.
