all i can say is.
Whew.
No more above 500 teams till the playoffs.
Onto Seattle tuesday.
:lol I'd rather play the good teams. Seems like Spurs struggle more against the below .500 teams this season.

Not saying anybody should be depressed by a basketball game if you ever get depressed by a ball game obviously you don't have a life, all I'm saying is we should expect more from our franchise player. Maybe I'm just frustrated because what Duncan has been able to do in the past.

True.
But, they seem like they've been struggling against EVERYONE.
BTW, Bowen and Manu better be out for blood tuesday night.

Way to grind it out fellas!
TD -- I am proud of your performance. Hopefully this will serve as a "gag order" on your biggest critics!

Like I said I would like to see that against Dallas, Detroit or even miami not that I'm to worried about miami. I mean 23pts 12rbs 3blks and 4assists is great but thats what he used to do against everyone even on a bad night. Like i said maybe i am just frustrated that Duncan is not playing like that everynight.

Damn you don't get it.
They don't have that sort of drive and attitude in them.
They're just going to shake hands and pat each other on the back and be the nice and proper Spurs they've always been. The good boys. The model for the whole NBA. The choir boys. The mermaids.

Spoiled or not is going to be the differance between win and lose come playoffs.

Missed the whole thing. From what you tell me:
:worthy: Tim Dunker came up big. Bob Horry was Bob Horry. Nick Van Ex is ressurected? :clap At least on treys?
Was Barry going back to being tentative or did the shots just not present themselves?
Sweet win.

Its almost playoff time.
Time to start bagging shots.
Hence, he starts bagging em.
Not worried about Van Ex in the least.

Fuck this fucking facile "spoiled" shit.
The Spurs are the defending Champs with everybody back.
The playoffs start in 2 weeks.
5 season games left.
Following 2 pitiful losses at home, in April,
the Spurs desperately needed not just a W, but convincing, dominating, fearsome W to turn around a worrisome situation,
but they eke out a save of the slimmest 2-pt W @ATT against a first-round-exit Grizz.
The Spurs are miles, weeks away from where they should be at this point. They're not coming together anywhere near where they were for last playoffs. Pop said they aren't firing on all cylinders, anybody who bothers to look can see it. They just aren't clicking on either end.
If they could switch it on, why don't the now?, get in a groove, get some momentum, rather than barely saving an ugly W at home?
Is the 2nd week of April too soon to "peak", (which is a myth anyway) or just ramp up?
Does anybody feel confident that the Spurs can win out the last 5 games against lottery teams?

The win was all right. Eh. The Spurs are going to keep things close to the vest until playoff time. I remember last year after Tim came back they did the same thing.

Those are pretty big words for a big pussy like you.
Where do you get off calling people fuckheads and telling people to shut the fuck up.
I know you'd never say that in person to anybody since it sounds to me like no one has given you a wake up call and beat the living shit out of you.

I agree completely. I told the person sitting next to me after halftime, when the game was tied, that we would see what the Spurs were made of, and I was not impressed. Michael, Horry and NVE look ready for the playoffs, but Tony hasn't been the same since he got torched by Bibby and Nazr has lost whatever clue it was that he did have. Please, Nazr go back to fighting for rebounds and getting easy buckets. You have no moves and you should NEVER put the ball on the floor.

my biggest worry about this team is the offense. we have a ton fo great offensive players ON PAPER but unfortunately i dont think it translates to well on the court. I think this will be the year where the offensive lulls will really bite us in the ass against detroit because their solid consistent O can overcome our D. we dont have an instant offense player and if we aren't hitting our 3's and reboudning poorly (got outrebounded to one of the weakest rebounding teams in the league) we will be fucked come playoff time

Over the past 5 games, Nazr is averaging 19.2 minutes with a whopping 4.6 rebounds per game. Yippee!!

getting outrebounded by 3 isn't a big deal. they slacked off a bit in the second half with boards, but the effort was at least consistent. when we get hosed on the boards like vs detroit or if it's more than 6-7 is worrying...
