I can clearly see the black helipcopters in the video. They dropped secret spy drones to listen in on the Bush pre-debate powow. Then they downloaded it into a super-secret spy pen and gave it to Kerry.

Of course!

I wouldn't be surprised but it's not worth pursuing.

lol

Leave it to Drudge to come up with such a lame excuse for Kerry's strong performance during the first debate. Other conspiracy theories I have heard are that Kerry intentionally messed up W's tie while the two shook hands before the debate to make W look like a goof during the debate, and that W. had an ear piece making him unintentionally pause before his time was up on several occasions.

Here's the real explanation for Kerry's "strong" performance: most Americans are ignorant of what was actually being debated but thought that the blow dried well manicured Kerry 'spoke well.'

The problem for Kerry lies in the fact that most still say Bush is more believable, is a stronger leader, and is more likable.

Actually, it wasn't Drudge -- he just reported on what was a building Pajama Blogger accusation that had been making the rounds since Thursday.

That's cute...

Here, let the forum judge for themselves. Is that a pen he's pulling out of his pocked?

No, you can't tell what it is...but, I don't think it's a pen and, therefore, makes one wonder why the Kerry Campaign would forward that as it's explanation.

Do I think it's a big deal? No. Other than to show what a smarmy character the Demoncrats have, once again, managed to pull from their ranks to run for President.

Oh, I agree it's fairly sophomoric, but of all the things to hit Kerry on from the debate, this ranks pretty low on the list. The 'global test', his ever changing Iraq position, giving nuke material to Iran, bilateral talks with NKorea, dissing of American allies, opposing the US development of bunker busting nukes, etc...are all issues of greater import and Kerry weakness.

It was probably just a notepad to write on. He was obviously taking notes throughout the debate.

I wouldn't be surprised either way, but in the whole scheme of things, this matters about as much as National Guard service.

I don't disagree, Marcus. However, if this election -- or, any election for that matter -- were based on the issues, the polls would be a lot more disparate than they are.

People, for the most part, will vote for whomever makes them feel the most comfortable. Complex issues rarely enter into the debate.
