I dont know if the question has already been asked, but things are not going so great right now for him in Portland and that
doesnt appear to be something that will change in the near future (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2408844), so my question to you guys is, would you be open to bringing him in this offseason for what I'm guession will be an extremely cheap pricetag (Beno?), and having him play behind Bruce? He is another guy with attitude and behavioral problems like Jax, but I think a lot of that has to do with the organization he has been in, if I came into a team known as the "Jail Blazers" I wouldnt exactly be trying to exceed any expectations. Anyways, it has been said about many other players, but I think our core of guys could help him thrive and reach his potential while keeping him in check. I really wouldnt mind him as a 6th man, and maybe with some work from Bruce a more than decent defender.

Yeah he just signed a 6 year, $48 million contract in summer of 04.

His talent is enticing, but his salary is a bit too high.

Something else that bothers me is how can a guy be in the league as long as he has and still be underdeveloped? He still can't shoot very well and his handle is still suspect.

I'm not too enticed about a guy who changes out of uniform in the middle of a game just because he isn't getting his way. I'm not sure I'd want him for free.

He's a nuisance...Paul Allen still has faith in him for some reason. I like it when he throws down a huge dunk and then pounds his head with his hands in fists...meanwhile his man has gone down to the other end and is wide open.

This is the kind of stuff that I think Darius will never be cured of. But just for the hell of it, I'd love to see him call Pop a name in the middle of a game film session, just to hear about Pop's reaction. :lol :lol :lol

Miles is another example of unrealized talent. The jail blazers still haven't sheded their bad image. They just need to find a way to ship people, get character people, and start over as a franchise.

Miles could always go back to acting. Would that be a talent upgrade?

If there was some way the NBA changed the CBA and Portland released Darius Miles and he offered to sign with the Spurs for $1, my advice to RC Buford would to tell Miles to go Fuck himself.

Miles is in a class with Ron Artest and T.O., as talented as they may be they are simply not good for the sport.

Reports are that Isiah did want to trade for Darius and Jackass Paul Allen wouldn't allow the deal.

If the organization (which they are not), they would have left him in Clipperland.

After almost 30 years of straight sellouts, they've managed to alienate what was once a very loyal fan base. The owner and GM (both current and past) are to be blamed for driving this franchise into the ground.
