I'm not starting this thread to get into a debate about religion or what-not, I'm just giving a heads-up to anyone who's looking for a church for Easter weekend.

Community Bible Church off of 1604/Gold Canyon is putting on an amazing service. It's been in the works for months. There's a re-enactment of the crucifixion/resurrection, great music, and a great message. It's a very powerful service.

There's one tonight at 7pm, Saturday at 5pm, and Sunday at 9a and 11a.

Again, if you have biting comments about religion or what-not, keep it to yourself, I'm just putting this out for those interested in checking it out.

You go to Community Bible? Nice church. I went to East gate a couple of times several years ago.

Now I am going to Livingway Church on I - 35 near Judson. I am going to their Easter production on Sunday at nine if anyone wants to come with me. :)

Along those lines, does anyone know if anyone's performing the Messiah?

I wonder if family praise center is doing anything?

Harvest Fellowship at 281 and 1604 has an awesome Easter drama on Sat at 4 and 6, Sun at 9 and 11. It's a non-denominational Christian church--NOT fire and brimstone at all--truly a wonderful church for the whole family. The kid's and youth programs are excellent.

(shameless plug--my son is an extra in the drama--come and watch it!)

Oh, and Happy Easter everyone!
