During an uplifting Fox News story about how peaceful, calm and tranquil Iraq is (the reporter even described a particular village as "sleepy"), one can hear the cheerful chirping of spring birds during every outdoor shot, even in between cuts.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - In a move decried by some as state-sponsored segregation, the Legislature voted Thursday to divide the Omaha school system into three districts - one mostly black, one predominantly white and one largely Hispanic.
