True that...but they have also done it TWICE this season against the spurts, both with and without manu and also, I might add, once on your home court. Come the playoffs, if the spurts last that long, the Pistons are gonna spank dat ass AGAIN.

It didn't mean anything, for either team. I'm sure if NY was fighting for their playoff lives, the outcome would have been different.

"Pesky rookie Nate Robinson kept the Knicks in contention late. He got 21 of his 23 points in the second half, mostly against the Pistons' reserves. After one basket, he yelled at Saunders to put the starters back in."

Now, that's an NBA player.

I like cockiness, and I think Nate is pretty special, but that's just silly of him to say that. Of course, he could have been half-joking, and he did have some business saying it after the way he was playing. But, sounds kind of foolish when his team was down 20 points for most of the game, and never presented much of a problem for the starters.

I was at that game, and I loved watching Nate play... he's a pretty cool little player.

I have no problem with what Nate did. They were down 6, he was contributing, and he acted like a guy who wanted the game, and loves to play basketball.

Now something I DO have a problem with:

Aaron Williams celebrating his last shot in a 89-71 loss to the Pistons because Detroit didn't hold the team under 70 points. It wasn't the shot necessarily, but the events surrounding it. Mike James is standing on the perimeter, dribbling out the clock when Hubert Davis fouls him with 13 seconds left. James makes one of two free throws, the Nets call timeout, Davis misses a shot with 4 seconds left, and Aaron Williams tips it in.

That just pissed me off because it was outside the normal actions of a game.
