Three of the five Central Divisions have sub-.500 records.

It's impressive in one regard, not so much in another.

If you recall, this was a question the media asked at the beginning of the season. Detroit and Indiana were title contenders while Milwaukee and Cleveland had added some high-profile players. Chicago, who traded Eddy Curry for Tim Thomas before the season, was the only team that was considered on the fringe. As late as April 5th Milwaukee was over .500, and as late as March 29th Indiana was over .500.

If all teams win out:

Pistons - 65-17*
Cavaliers - 50-32
Indiana - 41-41
Milwaukee - 41-41*
Chicago - 41-41

*The Bucks and Pistons meet tonight. One of them will have to lose the game obviously, these standings have the Pistons losing that game*
