The lovebird is cute. I'm not a big fan of birds though. I think they will break out of their cages and poke my eyes out.

well they have opened the doors and gotten out..but their wings are clipped so they can't fly.

Sorry it died that's a bummer. Try to buy a bigger cage that will lower birds stress. Also add some natural branches and pieces of wood etc. Make it feel more nature not plastic.

P.S. you have a carbon monoxide detector at home?
