Im feeling good about this series.
The spurs and Kings never really crossed paths before, so its
good that they lock up for the first time if ever.

Go SPURS go!!!

You make a valid point, the way I see it, Artest will run into the stands, and when security shoots the stun gun at hime, he dodges it hits Tim Duncan, and when Manu tries to help he accidently gets shocked. So it looks like the Kings could shock the Spurs

^thats funny T. Horry made A season changing shot LONG AGO against sac.. he is hardly the reason for Kings fans to be on look out. I am sure the Spurs will take round 1 (though I am always hoping for an upset) but doubt Bob will play much of a role.

Kings will be a hard team to play no doubt. Arco Arena is always a bitch to play at and Bonzi Wells and Ron Artest are probably too much for our guards/forwards to handle... good thing we rely on team defense but even then it's still going to be tough.

i just know horry is gonna hit at least one big shot in this series. but the kings are not a typical 8 seed. they are better then the grizzlies, nuggets, clippers, and fakers. we are you guys calling us the queens? faker fans are the only ones that have that right.

You are focusing on one or two, and letting them set your impression in general. I have my issues with Spurs fans as a group, but there are many individuals who are good people. A lot of them take up residence here. Look past the one or two instigators and you will see that.

Ron Artest's last playoff game:

(3:57) [IND] Artest Foul: Flagrant Type 1 (3 PF)
(3:57) [DET 60-59] Hamilton Free Throw Flagrant 2 of 2 (18 PTS)
(3:57) [DET 61-59] Hamilton Free Throw Flagrant 1 of 1 (19 PTS)
(3:44) [DET 63-59] R. Wallace Dunk Shot: Made (11 PTS)
(2:41) [IND 61-63] O'Neal Layup Shot: Made (18 PTS) Assist: Johnson (7 AST)
(1:34) [IND] Johnson Layup Shot: Missed Block: Prince (2 BLK)
(1:13) [DET 65-61] Hamilton Running Jump: Made (21 PTS) Assist: Billups (3 AST)
(1:06) [IND] Artest Dunk Shot: Missed
(1:03) [DET] R. Wallace Rebound (Off:3 Def:8)
(0:46) [DET 67-61] Prince Jump Shot: Made (7 PTS) Assist: Billups (4 AST)
(0:40) [IND 63-67] O'Neal Turnaround Jump: Made (20 PTS)
(0:13) [IND] Artest Jump Shot: Missed
(0:12) [DET] Team Rebound
(0:12) [DET] Team Timeout: Short
(0:11) [DET 69-63] B. Wallace Dunk Shot: Made (12 PTS) Assist: Prince (2 AST)
(0:01) [IND 65-69] Croshere Jump Shot: Made (12 PTS)
(0:00) End Period

He spent 82 regular season games and 15 playoff games being great guy, one of the most mature men in all of basketball. But when crunch time hit, 4 minutes that meant the difference between the end of the season and a trip to Indianapolis for game 7 keeping the dream of the 2004 NBA Finals alive, he laid his forearm into Rip Hamilton's nose. If you watched the game, you know that Rip Hamilton got a technical because he was wouldn't stop talking at Artest.

One of the moments that is engrained in the 2004 Conference Finals is Rip coming off that screen, hitting that shot with 1:13 to go and as he went down to the other end of the floor, he turned around, looked Artest in the eye and pointed both of his index finger to the Palace floor saying "It (expletive) ends here!" Every basket after that foul had more energy, more attitude to it. He awoke the Pistons when they were too nervous for the first 44 minutes to grab that game and the Conference Championship. I mean, look at that score! 69-65? That was bad for that series. The Pistons shot 33% for the game, and the Pacers had a lead as large as 14.

It's not that he's not man enough, it's that he won't be able to control himself. And that's why San Antonio will have no problem putting away the Kings, whether it's a close series or not.

It's midnight Cinderella, you're about to find out the downside of Ron Artest.

RACK!

...but the kings are not a typical 8 seed...

It's amazing how many non-typical 8-seeds the Spurs have faced... in 1999 and 2001 the Wolves were more dangerous than your typical 8-seed because of Garnett. In 2003 the Suns weren't the typical 8-seed because Marbury was having a banner year and they had this Stoudemire kid. In 2005 Denver was the 2nd hottest team in the league after the All-Star break... yada, yada... done in 5.

Meanwhile Mavs need to sweat the hot Grizz - Gasol pretty good match for Dirk and a better interior player (where the playoffs are won), Battier pretty good defender on Howard and whole Grizz team can defend and if they get hot from outside =

Grizz could upset!
They could win if they don't get swept. That is one game. :lol

If Gasol is healthy, the Mavericks are going to have a dogfight on their collective hands.

If Gasol is healthy and feels close to 100? It goes 7.

Why don't you get out of here. You never added anything to this site anyways. The IQ of your post are pathetic. You are a joke to other posters. This board would be lame if it listened to your ideal of all spurs posters and a jerk off circle. The trolls is what makes this site interesting.

I was reading the topic provided. Some Kings fans are decent, some are retarded. If they really think they can beat us, they're retarded. They need to get a better bench and next year I think they'll be pretty damn good.

It's not just that, Mike. I have great deal of respect for the Spurs, and I want the re-match so the Pistons can beat them in the Finals. And it will limit the whispers the Pistons benefitted from circumstance (oh, who am I kidding? That already started because they were "too healthy" this season).

The Pistons play who's infront of them, but make no mistake. I'd rather beat the Spurs than the Kings, Lakers, Suns, Mavs, Grizzlies, or Clippers. I respect them, but I don't fear them. They are worthy adversaries.

lol who said they were winning the title this year?? thats not gonna happen, but they're gonna do some real damage next year in the west, at the rate that they're playing since Artest arrived, they'd win aounrd 60 games. so stfu you dipshits!

I see bad matchups for the Spurs accross the board. Ginobili isn't strong enough to guard Bonzi, Artest will overpower Bowen, Kenny Thomas will give Duncan fits with his quickness off the dribble and his outside shot, and Mohammad will have trouble getting out on Brad Miller. The matchups look good for the kings.

8 years? more like 4 buddy. but either way i dont care because this team isnt a team that can be called soft anymore and they finally play defense. this team isnt a jumpshooting team anymore. bonzi, SAR, ARTEST,kenny thomas. in my opinion this team is better built for the playoffs. hey dont you hate horry to. remember game five. :lol
