When I saw that the Spurs were playing in the afternoon I had to check which "good" teams ESPN/NBA thought were THE games to put in the 8 eastern time prime time slot...Shoulda known...

Saturday is Heat/Bulls, Sunday is Bucks/Pistons...

Bulls were barely a .500 team and Bucks were even worse @ 40-42...

Both games should be blowouts. Why would they do that?

EDIT: I just saw the Pistons are on TNT.

I guess they need a lot to talk about during meaningless plays.

Repeat after me: MARKET SIZE MATTERS

Doesn't really matter. If you make it to the Finals, they HAVE to put you on in a good time slot. :smokin

I though for sure Wiz/Cavs would be the first primetime game. Is it?

I am pretty sure that ABC had first pick of the games they wanted, and they chose Wiz/Cavs and Kobe/Suns...something like that.

The matchups, if we're going to throw Kobe in there, is more like this:

Arenas v. Lebon in his first playoff series.
Kobe v. Highest scoring offense in decades that won't guard him.

There are some conflicts with NHL teams who share the arenas with the NBA teams.

Who cares, you get to see the games anyway.

I think everyone knows and is used to the Spurs not being the most popular team around for a national audience.
