Okay, so let the smack begin. I think we all probably feel that, barring significant injuries, the Spurs and Pistons will most likely meet up in the Finals again this year. Although the results will be very different. Don't get me wrong, I gave the Spurs their due last year when they beat my beloved Pistons. This year however, a different story...we're taking our championship back. Home court advantage, an improved offense, still one of the best defensive teams in the league, and an underated and often overlooked bench. I'm not saying we have the best bench in the league, but as shown in our last 3 games (Starters sat for the most part), our bench is very capable of putting up nice numbers. Anyways, I just wanted to say that I hope you enjoyed the championship for the year, because it's going back home where it belongs...in Detroit!

Premature, and done, like, a billion times this season.

As I see it, the Pistons will have to win exactly the same number of games to win the Championship as the Spurs will. Against almost eerily equal odds. As we have said numerous times over the past few days...THE ROAD IS LONG...for everybody. You are not the 2006 Champs yet. Save your celebrating for a more appropriate time?

LMAO Typical, and as expected, time to go off to a forum with a little more substance. And by the way it's called having confidence in my team. Should've known I would get weak replies like this. *OUT* See ya in the Finals....oh and bring our belts with you..LOL!

Can't the forum software be setup so when we click on, eg, badboyz name on the left, the menu has a choice "add to to my ignore list" ?

With all the trolls dragging their stupid asses in here for the playoffs, that feature would be super handy.

Detroit does not know what is going to hit them in the Finals, by the time they realize what it was you'll see Tony, Manu, Tim and the rest of the Spurs flying out to S.A. to celebrate yet again another championship............

Your right...Spurs will be home in San Antonio watching The Bold and the Beautiful, while Bill Davidson is saying bullshit on live tv, and the rest of the team is laughin their ass off.

Anyways, hiring Flip Saunders as your coach is a good one, if I must say so myself.

Yesh, with ARTEST telling everyone the Kings are the favorites and the thousand Pistons fans telling everyone they are destined to whoop us in the Finals theres no reason to even play these series. We are so screwed we should just quit. We are not on these guys level!!!!

Spurs are great. I think they have a great chance to make it all the way to the Finals. Unfortunately, I think that will be right around the time Eva Longoria's hepatitis and chlamydia will start to take over Tony Parker's body.

Talk to me in June kid when I have my Pistons 06 Champ gear on. You know that your best shot at winning this year is if you don't have to play Detroit. :lol

The only gear you'll be wearing is an Eastern Conference Championship T while your Pistons ponder whether to go to Hawaii or Cancun for vacation.

AHHEMMM!!!

just wanted to point out, Detroit was never the Trophy's home. Last I checked

SPURS 2003 CHAMPS
detroit 2004 champs
SPURS 2005 CHAMPS

so as you can plainly see, you where just borrowing it from us and keeping LA'S DIRTY HANDS OFF OF IT.

Now that its trully home, its not going to leave.
