I've been somewhat agitated by the TV-influenced playoff scheduling in the recent past, but not this season. The playoff back to back has gone the way of the answering maching. Nowadays, playing 3 playoff games in 5 days is becoming a rarity.

Look at the Spurs-Kings 1st round schedule:

Game 1: at San Antonio, Sat., April 22 (5:30 p.m. ET, ESPN) 2 days off since last game
Game 2: at San Antonio, Tue., April 25 (9:30 p.m. ET, TNT) 2 days off
Game 3: at Sacramento, Fri., April 28 (10 p.m. ET, ESPN2) 2 days off
Game 4: at Sacramento, Sun., April 30 (10 p.m. ET, TNT) 1 day off
Game 5: at San Antonio, Tue., May 2 (TBD, if necessary) 1 day off
Game 6: at Sacramento, Fri., May 5 (TBD, if necessary) 2 days off
Game 7: at San Antonio, Sun., May 7 (TBD, if necessary) 1 day off

This is going to be a boon for the Spurs. Four games will be played with two days' rest. Each round will afford them plenty of rest and recovery time.
