If only those two guys could combine for a big double-double on average.

The Spurs won because Rasho played more than 20 minutes

They rarely play a combined 49 minutes. Their regular season combined minutes were about 36.

ok, even a medium double-double on average.

Too many games where 2 tall guys can't combine for 10-10.

They're both flawed, but together, they are about 85% of a passable center. Unfortunately, they also make a combined MAX salary, without the productivity. That's why Nazr will be gone this summer. Our two headed center for next year will be Rasho/Oberto, and I think Ian will be brought in for seasoning, and perhaps Javtokas as well. We need some athleticism in the pivot and the two youngsters will eventually replace the stopgap measures in a few years.

Hey- just for the record. When Rasho entered the game in the second quarter, the Spurs had a 14 point lead- great but not insurmountable. Less than 8 minutes later at halftime, Spurs were up by 34!! There was a beautiful part of that quarter with Tim, Bruce, and Rasho all in the game and the defense was AMAZING!!
