Wolves: Hudson not ready

News
After offseason ankle surgery, backup point guard Troy Hudson will not be ready to play in the Timberwolves' training camp or much of the preseason. "Our hope is that about three weeks into the exhibition season, he'll be able to start getting into some five-on-five fullcourt games," coach Flip Saunders told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

The preseason start on October 10, meaning Troy is going to "hopefully" start scrimmaging at the end of the month. The regular season begins on November 2. Is Hudson's gimpy ankle going to be an issue for the second straight season? As of this moment, starting point guard Sam Cassell is not in camp either because of potential contract issues, and the Wolves are very thin at point guard.
