Favre Will Play In 2006
Brett Favre informed the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday that he will play the 2006 season, league and team sources have told ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Favre shared his decision with general manager Ted Thompson and head coach Mike McCarthy in a telephone conversation on Tuesday morning.

Great to see a hall of famer for another year. there will not be another #4. Ppl are predicting this jay cutler kid is favre-like. BS. FUCK THAT. Favre is arguably the best QB of all time. Three-time mvp and superbowl winner

No surprise Favre wants to retire in GB. I would advise retirement after this year unless something "magical" happens.

My guess is that he was probably trying to get them to trade him or cut him. They weren't biting, so he blinked.

Really? He basically is a god in Green Bay, no matter how many 4-interception days he has. He won't get that kind of benefit of the doubt anywhere else. Who else do you think he would want to play for?
