He only scored 2 buckets but next to Manu and of course Brent's heroics, Rasho's lay ins were absolutely HUGE. I mean, they were at critical junctures of the game, us being only up 2 or 3 and with the Kings breathing down our backs, Rasho, RASHO!!!!!!! gives us the edge. :elephant

He also kept an O reb alive that led to a Manu basket, and also he had 3 blks.

It helps that Manu plays with another big white guy with good hands who can't jump over a deck of cards. Manu knows where to put the ball for the leaping-challenged.

Mad props to Rasho. He played well while Nazr stunk it up for most of the game. As long as one of the two play good on any given game, Spurs will be okay.

BTW, Nazr cant do jack without Duncan by his side!

Hopefully Nazr plays more like he did in game one, and Rasho continues to play the way he played tonight.

Rasho played some nice D tonight, as usual.

It's hard to believe- after sitting and standing at this game- that Rasho only played 13 minutes total tonight. He sure did seem to be around for some important moments. I think it was because he was in and out and in and out with Tim that he seemed to be in there more. His defense was very nice (3 blocks in 13 minutes), and those 2 buckets sure did come at opportune times.

When the Spurs go with the small line-up, you really need to do it with Tim or Rasho. It just does not work so well with Nazr.

I was especially pleased to see Rasho get the opportunity to play in the overtime and have the chance to contribute. Pop showed the confidence he has in Rasho when the game is on the line. I would like people to remember this game as the play-offs go on.

I would also like to point out that Rasho rotated into this game in the FIRST quarter. :)

Rasho has been great : good Defense, some huge blocks and a nice 360 layup.

For ploto, Rasho was in the rotation for this game (see the first quarter) : I'm surprised to see Pop plays with a 4 big rotation. Let see now how long Pop will do that but if Rasho continue to play like that (and if the matchup isn't too bad for him) there are no reason to change.

:)

Who knew he had that move in his repertoire. His teammates sure enjoyed it!

As for Brad Miller- I have no idea what has happened to him. It's not like we are playing some kind of great defense on him. We are focusing on just about everyone else and daring him to shoot and he can't hardly make anything. I have never seen him shoot so poorly and with no confidence.

That makes absolutely no sense.

First, SAR is 6'9". Secondly, people always claim that Rasho can't play against smaller teams and is only useful against the big guys, and now you want to take away from what he did by claiming it was because the team went small!? These were supposed to be the games Rasho was not useful for- remember??

I got very upset with Rasho a couple of times when Bonzi Wells finished strong in the paint and got 2nd chance points. It seemed like Rasho's body language was saying, "no I insist, sir, after you".

There were other times when Rasho was fantastic in altering and blocking shots, particularly near the baseline in help situations. As timvp so accurately noticed, Rasho's "hard Sho" (sorry about that pun) on screen switches really impacted Bibby's rhythm, as did Parker's effort to stay close.

Rasho's layup and incredibly bold pass from Manu was a sight to behold at that juncture of the game. Surprising, actually.

Rasho played pretty well in one playoff game so far. I'll give him that. Two counting game 1.

All I'm saying is let's see what he brings when he's lined up against the Wallace boys and McDyess. If he couldn't be a presence against a team as small as the Kings then we've got a problem.

I think Adelman was too narrow minded in his offense and didn't try to exploit Rasho by isolating anyone on him. Thomas or Rahim could have blown by him but Adelman was working the offense through Wells and Martin. Rasho did ok on SAR, but in reality he didn't have to deal with him very much on defense.

Don't get me wrong, I loved what he did. Now he needs to show me something against someone other than an 8-seed with a weak front line.
