Your third star, Sacramento Kings forward Shareef Abdur-Rahim...

Put the Kings on his back late in the 3rd quarter and all of the 4th and finished with 27 points. The Spurs tried everybody on him, Duncan, Nazr, Rasho, Horry, nobody could stop him inside the paint. And fouling him didn't work either. Just a dominant post performance that made me miss the healthy Tim Duncan.

Your second star, San Antonio Spurs guard Brent Barry

Of course the headline is his clutch 3 to send the game into overtime, but that was only 3 of his 10 4th quarter points, and he did finish with a playoff career high 22 on 8 of 12 shooting. Good things happened when he was on the floor in both the 2nd and 4th quarters and he saved our bacon for long stretches of the game. Made a strong case for himself tonight not only to get major minutes in our rotation, but also to be our backup PG as well.

And your first star.... San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili!!!!

Ah, finally playoff Manu is back. I can't remember the last time the guy had a game with 20 shot attempts. Can anyone? And truthfully, that might be a few too many for him, but Duncan was out of the game in foul trouble and Pop had some weird substitution patterns tonight.

After a great 3rd quarter, Pop picked a curious time to take Manu out in the 4th, with TD already on the bench, and even when he was in there, he wasn't doing a whole lot (0-3, 1-2 ft, but 4 assists), but he made some big passes and of course the play for Barry at the end speaks for itself. He also bounced back for what seemed like at the time a killer missed FT to take over the game in OT. Final numbers, 32 points, 9 assists, and 0 TO.

Honorable mentions go to Bonzi Wells, who was incredible and unguardable to the point of rendering Bruce useless for three quarters; Kelvin Martin, definitely the best K-Mart in the NBA, (it's not even close at this point) who had a superb game, at least on one end of the floor in relief of Artest, and Tony Parker, who finished with a pretty good line, (22 and 10) and actually had a pretty good 4th quarter really. And he held Bibby to a horrible shooting night. Tony's only blemishes were a ghastly 7 turnovers and a crummy jumper tonight.

Before people pile on Tony too badly tonight, people should remember that LeBron finished with 10 turnovers today, and I don't think the Cavs fans are too displeased with him overall, and as I said, Tony did save his best play for the 4th quarter.

i agree except the third star.

My Third Star goes to Bonzi Wells. He did an excellent job making up for the loss of Artest and was agressive underneath. If he woulda never fouled out, I think the outcome wouldve been different because he was on fire all night.

Bonzi Wells was by far the first runner-up. That guy was unstoppable for much of the game.
