Although we lost, it was a good game, a thriller.

Let's get game 4.

yea no kidding he could have just shot a long 3 which would have wasted the extra time on the clock

Payback for the Kings. They deserved it after the painful last game.

The only thing that will kill you in that situation is to give up a steal. And that's exactly what happened.

Even a 24-second violation would have been better.

Well, I just ran the DVR back to the last play. Bibby never got ball until it came loose. In the view from the basket, in slow motion, Bibby hit Gino in the forearm with both hands (left hand near Gino's elbow and his rt. hand across the high wrist). The ball dislodged and it's off to the races.

With that said...Gino should have passed it to TP and let him hoist a shot instead of drive into the double team.

Thanks for at least confirming this for all the folks thinking that was clean. Bibby touched the ball, after he had gone through Manu's arm to get it.

Oh, and then Bibby tugged the net while Bennett stood there with his whistle up his ass. Offensive goal tend, anyone?

They're not going to call that type of foul with less than 5 seconds left.

At least the Spurs get to close it out at home in front of the fans :P

Exactly. The Spurs would have had 3 seconds to defend the Kings.

I just don't know why the Spurs showed their hand like that. Everyone knew that Ginobli was going to drive and if he couldn't get to the basket he was passing it off to someone. I'd rather have seen the ball dumped down to Duncan and if he had nothing then they could pass to Finley or one of the others for an open shot.

At least it's not the end of the series.

Gino, in taking the extra step with the ball did the equivalent of folding with a Straight Flush. A pass and a long shot by Parker with a high bounce likely runs the clock out.

As soon as Martin came in the game I turned to my wife and said "Here comes this *****!" Something told me that he was gonna give the Kings at least one crazy shot and unfortunately it was the final one. Too bad its not like Euro rules where Tim could have just gone up and knocked it out. Oh well lets get em back on Sunday.

Are you serious? They wouldn't call that in a million years, and they really shouldn't.

Yeah or throw a high arc 3-pointer dammit.

Manu will have to learn the hard way and I'm sure he'll replay that scenario back again and again in his mind realizing he had almost a perfect scenario to win and blew it.

It was a great game. Tim's best game on both ends of the floor in a long time. Just a disappointing ending.

I'm sorry, but i don't equate Manu fuckin up to a card hand. Sorry.

Manu was out of control, as usual. He should just play every other game.

Okay thanks.
As I see from the play by play manu destroyed Tim's effort at the endinng of this game.
I saw the gif from the last play and that was great defens by Kings. Did they knew Gino was going to penetrate? :angel :rolleyes

Artest kept Manu from going where he wanted to go. Sure there was contact, but you can't expect that whistle with 5 second left (just like you couldn't expect it with Duncan's screen in game 2).

Manu fucked up royally. There is no one else to blame. You don't get calls in that situation, Pop gave it someone that usually makes the right decision in the cluctch so you can't blame him.

This loss is on Manu.

Back on topic, it was a great shot. One of the best defensive players in the NBA chasing you down with seconds to go, on top of the fact that you look like you're 12 years old, to win against the NBA champs takes some nuts.

Horry For 3!
04-29-2006, 01:19 AM
It was a tough shot, he threw it up, bounce around, went in. And then you see Bibby holding onto the net.... :lol

Man, the refs pussed out and hauled ass off teh court after not calling that. I thought they were the 04 Lakers for a second there. That was fast.
