I don't know about you guys, but whenever something like this happens, I just get so sad, angry, and whatever else comes with the happenings. But somehow (and I don't know why), once I can think clearly again and calm down, I just feel like a stronger bond towards the Spurs. Like the disastrous events just made my faith bigger and I really can not fault anyone on the team. I know many of you aren't like this, but events like today's just bring out these thoughts; I wonder if anybody here is kind of like this too?

go spurs go...

i'm the one who got pissed when spurs lost game 4 to the knicks in 1999 and didnt go for the sweep and i'm easily one of the 3 most pessimistic boardies on here and yet I dont mind this at all. Props to the Kings, they made the plays that mattered, hit their shots, and above all, the out HUSTLED us. they were more inspired. In the 48 minutes of basketball we barely played a solid 20 minutes and yet lost on a fluky buzzer beater. and lets be honest, Barry's shot was even more fluky than Tim's pre .4 shot. Even if he was wide open, the way it went in was unbeleivable. But we took it just like we'll take a buzzer beater from Martin. its an 8th seed team they dont get to see much post season excitement so let them have their win. I just hope we can get game 4 cuz i dont want to see this series drawn out any longer than it has to. I wanna be well rested for the mavs.

At one time I would have agreed with you but I just lost my dad last week and remembered what true pain and loss are. This loss doesn't really feel like anything to me other than the Spurs are up 2-1.

Spurs shoulda been blown out. All game long we were thinking we cant believe the Spurs are only down 2, 3 or 4. Mark my words....game 4 down 2 last shot, ball in Horrys hands.......

:lol

I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter, woke up at the end of the 3rd and was confused out of my mind, it was a close game.

I feel asleep with us down by 15 points...woke up, we were up 1, then they drove in for winning basket.

Feel asleep thinking we had lost...woke up thinking we had pulled it out, just to see us lose. Felt like we lost twice in one game.

Musta pissed someone off upstairs today.

Yeah, I will admit that a lot of the touch/flop fouls he usually gets were not called this game... and upon further review, my roommate (from SA and big Spurs fan) agreed that he might not have been fouled like we first thought (perhaps the refs aren't buying the flailing act anymore?)... either way, Kevin Martin has the lamest 1989 haircut I've ever seen and Duncan/anyone should have fouled him at like the free throw line with 3 seconds or something left and put the real pressure on him to hit 2 big FTs... TD played the shot extremely well (once the opportunity to foul was gone) and that was just an amazing up an under move... unbelieveable to me still

The Spurs have proven too much over Tim Duncan's tenure their resiliency and steely will to advance in the playoff. Hence, my frustration lasted about five minutes. I've already forgotten Game3. That's being honest with you, not sarcastic.

Losses like these only make for better games to come. It's true the Spurs played like crap a majority of the game and were still in it at the end with a chance to pull it out. That shows that when we play like crap we can still be in it, but when we play Spurs basketball, no one can touch us. Bring on game 4 and let's finish this thing.
