View Full Version : This game leaves me scratchin' my head
1) Back-to-back eggs by Manu. Artest is really making Manu uncomfortable.
2) Tony did a great job keepin' us afloat for awhile with the shooting, but did a horrible job as a point guard getting everyone involved.
3) Pop went 10-deep with peculiar lineups during the game.
4) Still no answer for pic-n-rolls by the Kings.
5) Still getting outrebounded. Offensive rebounds by the Kings killed us.
Other than that, game was craptacular.
Tuesday can't come any sooner.

dont trip, it was clearly that someone told the refs that it'd be nice if the kings got a win today. not that the kings amazing shooting didnt help but i think the way the series has gone, if the spurs dont easily handle the kings on tuesday, the refs are gonna help us.

This is the first game where we didn't get anything from the bench.

the refs had nothing to do with the way the spurs clanged and played awful. it's much more likely pop is on the take.

The defensive breakdowns and letting the Kings get offensive rebounds are more disturbing than anything else.
If we don't shoot well, fine. It's going to happen.
But not getting stops is inexcusible. The Kings shot 50% for chrissakes.
Hopefully Dan Crawford calls game 5

Actually we have an answer, it just sucks. Pop has switched on pick and rolls for years. Sacramento is taking advantage of that to get Bonzi vs. Parker any time they want it.
Bonzi even said in the postgame interview that they were successful because they were getting the mismatches they wanted off of us switching on the pick and roll.
Sadly, like Robert Horry on the Lakers several years ago making fun of 4down for being so predictable, Bonzi's statement will also probably fall on the deaf ears of the Simulator Crew.

Well, we better fix it up quick. Even if we somehow get past the Kings, Dallas' whole offense is getting mismatches off pic-n-rolls.
