Is that this matchup had to happen in the first round. This is the best matchup of the playoffs currently and possibly the entire playoffs, and it is wasted on the first round. The Kings just found themselves in the wrong place at wrong time because against any other team in the LEAGUE besides Det. (yes, Mavs included) the Kings would be either up 3-2 or would have already won the series 4-1. These guys have shown up and played championship caliber basketball, and have forced us to tune it up to Spurs Championship Basketball in the first round. This would have been a great WCF.

I'm interested to see how we respond in game 6 now that the Spurs know they have to play Championship basketball to win, and if we do win that game how we respond against Dallas.

I just hope, that if the Spurs can with this series, that it will only make them stronger. It kinda sucks having to play one of the toughest teams in the first round. But it may help SA. If they can get out the first round (and this series aint even close to being over yet!) they might have the advantage over Dallas having played such a tough opponant and Dallas getting Memphis. But we will see. Spurs still have a tough game at Arco.

Awesome post, I totally and fully fully agree, yet I still regulate on our spurs because we need to rise above this underrated team.

Since reading Spurstalk, I've been very happy to see that other members on the board aren't afraid to call BS on any stupid posts they see other members make. You guys seem very level headed, and aren't the type of fans who are blinded by the love for their team. Kudos to you guys for giving us props, we sure appreciate it. It's been a great series, I hope it goes to a Game 7.
