Sacto had been exploiting that matchup all night. Then he got his fourth foul and Pop put in the guard heavy lineup. Brent Barry took Bonzi to the hole. And Bonzi never even tried a shot against Barry. It wasn't part of the game plan. The guards exploded to give the Spurs an 11 point lead because suddenly the Queens had to play our game instead of us trying to play theirs. Then a timeout was called, Pop put the starters back in (including Bowen), and the :princess 's went right back to the Bonzi/Bowen matchup. Lead erased.
Bowen can't guard Bonzi and he's not an offensive threat. So put a small ball crew in there and watch the Kings fold in confusion.
