For those recommended the King Kong Nachos, we had it with Slomo last night. The six of us didn't even put a dent in them. We brought the rest of them home to feed to Deuce.

I too think Chachos is extremely overrated and not that cheap (for the quality). IMO the Margaritas are about the only good thing on the menu.

How does a restaurant become overrated? If someone really likes it, they really like it. It's not gourmet Mexican food or whatever, but it's cheap as hell and they give you waaaaay too much food. :drunk

Anybody ever been to Mavericks? If you want large portions that is the place to go. They have an industrial sized (what it says on menu) chicken fried steak that is the size of a thick magazine. Their steaks are also good and not too insanely priced.

The second time I ate there it didn't seem as good as the first....but I like the masa tortillas they use in their enchiladas. Added to the fact that I live with the human vacuum cleaner with hollow legs and the prices are really cheap...and the 2-story play-place my kids can get lost in for at least 2 hours, I like going there.

But enough of those frozen Jack & Cokes and it could be Alpo enchiladas and it would be heaven. :drunk
