Im a newbie sort of, and can't remember if anyone has brought this up. If they have sorry for a repeat thread. I just had some DJing shirts made up and they were pretty cheap at $4.00 each plus a $25 set up fee, and was just wondering if Kori has ever wanted to print some up cause I would buy one in a hurry.

Not only would it show out Spurs spirit it would also promote the site. Black shirt with silver or white would be sweet.

We have talked about it a lot but haven't come up with a simple way to get them shipped to all the international members. So we weren't going to do something that could only be for local people.

If anyone has any suggestions that doesn't include me paying all the costs upfront. Plus me having to pack and ship everything, then I'd be interested in hearing about it.

I don't think I ever saw that.

That seems like the best suggestion to me. I can't understand why you would have a problem with it.

Just do preorders, I don't think anyone would have a problem with waiting.

So you do preorders for X ammount of days, let everyone know that you need a certain ammount of orders by a certain time, if not everyone gets their money back, PayPal would work fine.

This way you can do it locally, and ship them yourself Internationally at a very low price, I know I mentioned this somewhere but Global Priority is like 4.00 and you can fit a tshirt in those envelopes...

I don't think I want to ship 100's of t-shirts. That's why I was looking for suggestions that involved a company handling the shipping.

If no one else wants to step up and do this, I will. But I need a design. Otherwise I'll handle the ordering and making sure everything gets shipped out to whomever needs it. I can probably just hand out 90% of the orders to people at the GTGs.

So someone step up and put up a design and we can get this done. In fact, if a few people make a few designs, we can setup a poll to have people choose a winner.

More than 1/2 the people interested don't live in San Antonio.

If you want to handle it, then handle it.

Kori Ellis

Manny, when you organize it remember a couple things. Printing on black/dark shirts is a lot more expensive than on white/light. Printing on both front and back or printing in more than 2 colors can become very expensive.

So if anyone is suggesting a design, it should be on a gray or white shirt. The design shouldn't be many colors. And I'm not sure if people want to pay for printing on both sides of the shirts.

ObiwanGinobili

my mothers group just did t-shirts.
We printed black onto gray mens shirts adn gray/black women's baseball style shirts.
We printed both sides and had a pretty long list on the back side.

Total for everyone with printing, shipping, package costs (we are spread across the country) was $17.86 per t-shirt.

that should give you an idea on ball park pricing.

Kori Ellis
05-03-2006, 06:21 PM
I think that we are looking for the cost of the shirts to be around $10 each (plus shipping).

True. At least five people supposedly had a friend who could print them for us at a good price, but when I asked repeatedly for details, no one came through.

I don't have much to contribute aside from saying I'd be down with buying one. Nothing to extensive on the details though, the last thing I want is a shirt that resembles a Grateful Dead tour shirt.

www.spurstalk.com would be fine.

what do u guys think of just someone making a cool design and us foreigners can get it done where we live, its bound to be cheaper... i know im in the dominican republic and i can get a really high quality shirt for 200 Pesos, Which Is Like 6 Bucks... so all we need is a cool design... i was thinking something that says

LOL that was my second option!!!

I agree w/ you though. The whole 'quattro' idea really applies to a select few. But I wasn't feeling very creative at the time!
