I must say that TP has done an admirable job defending Bibby. He's basically clung to Henry's son closer than I've seen Tony guard anyone, ever.

Bibby is a great player and clutch scorer but Tony has caught up to Mike in a lot of areas regarding being a PG and floor leader.

Bibby gets most of his open looks off of offensive rebounds. In half court sets, Parker has been all over him.

Bibby has always been over-rated...he had one fantastic game against LA in 01 and has been living off the hype every since.

Parker hung 19 points in a quarter on him at the age of 20.

Parker hung 19 points in a quarter on him at the age of 20. Tony is a special PG, led the league with points in the paint. However, Bibby is more clutch, a better FT shooter, and has a better jumper. Also, Artest > Manu.

I didn't say Bibby was a bad player...he's just seriously over-rated. And I think most over-rated aspect of Bibby is the claim that he is clutch...

I agree he's got a better jumper and is a better FT shooter, additionally, he's a much better passer and true PG...Bibby is a talented offensive player.

But as a scorer he's not really better if he is better, and defensively he is much much worse.

As for Manu V Artest...Artest is probably more talented, especially on defense, but he's also a dumbass with emotional issues...which is why he gets traded every 2 or 3 years inspite of his awesome talent. The best part of Artest's game is his competitiveness...and Manu is more than his match in that area.

I'd take Parker and Manu over Bibby and Artest any day of the week...but then again I wouldn't even let Chris Webber on my team and you'd probably rather have him than Duncan.

Parker is a much better scorer than Bibby because Parker shoots a much higher percentage for a guy that averages 19 a game. It's not about how much you score, it's about how many shots you have to take to get that amount. TP is far superior in this respect because he drives and finishes at the rim better than Bibby could ever hope to do. And D? Not even a question. Bibby blows.

Bibby shoots 3 pointers. Parker takes layups. No surprise there is a big difference in percentages.

Hey, you're catching on. I'll take a guy that shoots over 50% from 2 anytime over a guy jacking up threes. Going 9 for 14 from the floor is much better than going 16 for 35. The more possessions you score the more pressure you put on the other team. FG% is KEY.

Both can hit the jumper a helluva lot better than Parker. They also see the floor better. Parker is good at ONE thing. Driving to the basket. That's it.

Don't bother.

Parker could average 30 a game the rest of the playoffs, and he would shit on him for not averaging 35.

It's really surprising just how bad he's been. Look at the difference between Bibby (this year) and Billups (last year), just no comparison. He's got to have a better series or the Kings won't win in SA.
