Hope Artest doesn't do something stupid and spiteful.
Think we can trade Finley for Martin?

Did Bonzi play in this game?? I didnt see him :lol
I guess it's safe to say two things:
1) Spurs Defense Is Back
2) Bonzi's feet just hit the ground tonight. Welcome back to earth Bonzi. :lol

They spent everything they had making two comebacks in game 5. They had nothing left for this game. A lot like the '03 LA series where they spent so much energy coming back from 25 down...
Bring on the Mavs

I was thinking the same thing, aaron. Lakers in 03, except this time Tony and Manu destroyed them in the 3rd, not Timmy.

The 1st sends the 8th seed out like an 8th seed.
Big, gutsy win, close out on the road.
Tony, hope you're not aching too bad. Get some TLC

Boutons - many thanks for the slingbox. Pity i have to work during the week or i'd do it for every game. If we make the Finals, think I'll be taking a few sick days!
Anyway, thx again.

Props to Adelman for giving Spurs credit in his post-game comments. He said that, he knows Pop won't say it, but someone has to: "It's a travesty that the NBA is making the Spurs play 36 hours later after a hard fought series. This is the thanks they get for having the best record?"

props to bill walton for bringing his best game tonight. at least 4-5 hall of fame comments tonight, including his explanation of why TD should make his 9th consecutive All-NBA team - "The spurs won 63 games, and it sure wasn't Rasho or Nazr that carried them there"
Horry For 3!

Those of you reading the game blog may not have heard this:
Adelman's Post-game conference
LMAO. He just blasted the league for making the Spurs play 36 hours after closing the series. He said they worked hard to get the #1 seed and shouldn't be rewarded with that, and if the Spurs lose on Sunday it'll be on the league office.
Then at the end he said "they can't fine me for saying that about another team, can they"?
I don't necessarily agree with him, but it was funny.
Pop earlier said that the Spurs have to play the Mavs next "in about 20 minutes".

I don't know if anyone has been paying attention to Tony's free throws but he rarely missed in the series, I hope this continues.
Tony finished off the series 31 for 35 from the ft line

I've noticed all year long.
Manu and Tony sort of switched.
Manu is missing and Tony is making.
