I am hoping for a good game from both sides. I hope Manu and Scola get off but ultimately, Timmy and team USA take control.

Here's to a great game! :drunk

Once ducks? LOL. I say Duncan has maybe 2-4 blocks for the game. USA front court is much more ahtletic/taller compared to Argentinas.

By the way, Stephen A. Smith said on ESPN tonight (quoted as best as I remember it) "that Argentina doesn't have any size like Spain did with Pau Gasol. They only have one good player, Manu Ginobili and he is a bench player for San Antonio and we all know how he fell short in the playoffs last year."

Same old Stephen A.

Stephen A.'s girlfriend described SAS in much the same way.

I thought I also read somewhere that Stephen A said that signing Ginobili and the Spurs moves in the offseason in general were very good? Anyone remember this? Why didn't he say that they overpayed him, being that he is a bench player who failed against LA?

Stephen is weird. At least be consistent with your opinions.....

Kind of a harsh thing to say about him, that "he fell short in the playoffs last year".

I don't think Argentina is playing as well as they did 2 years ago. I also think Argentina will have problems keep the ball out of TD's hands. Their lineup is not as tall as other teams (I think).

Also, if Scola plays well then everyone will jump on his bandwagon. They'll demand that he is brought over immediately.

If he doesn't play well, Sequ will point it out and it will then be swept under the rug.
