Don't get all excited. Tony said it as a joke. He was talking on the radio to Michael Pietrius of the Warriors and said, "I have to go now, I have to go meet with Pop and sign my contract." He was joking around with Pietrius.

what that sucks, i hope that my earlier comments on our ability to survive without tony dont make people think the wrong thing, it would be awesome to sign him and keep for the long haul.

I see TP getting near the max with a lot of incentives, if the deal is done before the EOM. I don't think the deal will be done this year. I think Pop will put the pressure on TP & see how he responds.

I see TP getting the MAX next year, if not from the SPURS, :bang, than from somebody else.
