IT could be better.

But I chalk up missed stuff, on fatigue.

If they had a day or 2 before this game, the defense would've been better.


The 4th quarter defense was trophy raising esque.

They didn't start off playing defense, but it got better as the game went on. I expect it to improve further with some time to make adjustments and prep.

The guys were amazing today- solid effort and minimal mistakes the whole way through.

There are not enough positive adjectives to justly describe the Spur's fourth quarter. The guys were awesome and deserve all the credit in the world. :D

Exactly. It was like they were saving up the energy to play championship D in the 4th.

You could feel winning time coming up there toward the end of the third.

I was pretty upset in the first quarter. I was just glad the Spurs were scoring on the other end to keep it close. I would have to go back and look at the tape but I would say for about 8 min. the Mavs didn't leave their side of the court without points. Either they got a bucket, and offensive board, or got to the line.
