Spurs only had 1 day of rest and to prepare while Mavs had all week. Mavs are 100 times better than the Cavs.

While Pistons have had rest and time to prepare and Cavs only had 1 day rest....plus Cavs suck

Bingo. We have a winner.

I remember those Mavs smoking the Pistons by 35.

Mavs >>>>>>>Cavs (there arent enough '>' to properly hammer that home)

Yeah, it's no fair; Spurs get to play their conference finals early, but we still gotta sit through the semis first.... :madrun

Well, in the Detroit media it's being reported as a franchise playoff record, so I'm pretty sure it's not.

When are htey gonna divide conferences by north and south :lol

San Antonio, Dallas, Phoenix, Houston, MIAMI, Clippers, Memphis, Washington, Lakers, Denver, New Orleans, Utah, Charlotte, and Atlanta

Detroit, Cleveland, New Jersey, Indiana, Milwaukee, Sacramento, Chicago, Golden State, Boston, Minnesota, Seattle, Philadelphia, New York, Toronto, Portland

Does that seem more fair?

I know it was a joke, but what if the NBA did change how conferences were made up?

How about having an American Conference and a National Conference like the NFL and MLB where conferences teams are not based on regions?

AMERICAN CONFERENCE / NATIONAL CONFERENCE (counterpart)

New York / New Jersey
LA Clippers / LA Lakers
Orlando / Miami
Dallas / San Antonio
Houston / New Orleans
Boston / Toronto
Detroit / Cleveland
Indiana / Milwaukee
Chicago / Minnesota
Golden State / Sacramento
Portland / Seattle
Philadelphia / Washington
Atlanta / Charlotte
Memphis / Denver
Utah / Phoenix

Or something along those lines. That would be interesting if conferences were divided up like that.
