Bradford P. Millsap

The name is Tim or Timothy, NOT "TIMMEY"; I don't care how affectionate David Chanselor wants to get about him, for God's sake, he's a grown MAN.
Knock off w/ the crapola & call him the way he deserves to be labled

Its "Big Shot ROB". This is actually a player preferance. Horry said it himself either last season or the season prior that he didnt like the "Bob" title. It has been "Big Shot ROB" since his H-town days.

False...Kobe gave him that nickname after after he hit a game winner in the first round against Portland on the Lakers last title run. Duncan is the one that changed it to Bob officially...and he knows Horry doesn't like it, which is why he does it :).

I stand corrected, could have sworn it was when he hit the huge three in Houstons first or second title run.
I am pretty sure that Tim gets some liberties that the rest of us should leave alone. When my girlfriend says Bob she gets "the look". :lol

Sorry, Horry should know that when a nickname sticks..the person being nicknamed can't change it....Screw Horry. You can't give yourself your own nickname, and arrange it. That's lame. Hence Shaq, who's got a billion nicknames for himself..but we can thank him for Timmy's "Big Fundamental" .
Big Shot Bob is better than Big Shot Rob...More Sharpshooter Cowboyee, Rob doesn't ring as well as Bob.
I love that Timmy made it official, "Big Shot Bob...Big Shot Bobbehh...." after that Game 5.

Partially correct. Kobe did give him the nickname Big Shot Bob during the Lakers run in '02 (also gave him the nickname Kickstand, but that's another story). It's always been Bob since the nickname was given, Robert hates the "Bob" and has tried to at least change it to "Rob" but has been unsuccessful. Duncan, last year, started calling him Bobby so it became Big Shot Bobby as a joke.

Actually, except this Spurs-Mavs game 1, nearly all of the playoffs games are played between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm (Eastern China time), we are all going to school or working at office.

No, I think everyone gets it but the original poster. But I think he was referencing Chancellor just calling him Timmy not just Timaaaaaay. He seems to think he should be called Tim or Timothy.
And I think you should learn how to spell Elliott:)

I call him Timmy...before a free-throw: "Ok, Timmy, point your toes and bend your knees...in the bucket, Timmy!" When he misses the shot..."Shit, Timmy, the big round thing on the post for crying out loud!" When he waltzes to the basket and tips one in softly..."Thanks, Timmy!"
What the hell is wrong with calling him Timmy? It's a perfectly acceptable and affectionate name for someone we all love. Get over yourself. Call him Mr. Duncan if you want, but don't tell me what to call him.

That is the absolute UGLIEST stance for shooting free-throws I have ever seen in my life :lol . But, I can tell before he releases the ball whether or not it will go in, by the way he's standing. When he's very tired or hurting, he does not bend his knees as much and misses a lot. It may be ugly, but if it works for him, I'm all for it!
