Down 18 at the half against a good Nets team. Don't see them coming back from that.

Damn, Miami is a joke. This was the team that was supposed to be the Pistons greatest challenge in the East????

BTW: Lakers are looking smarter and smarter for trading away Shaq and his huge contract when they could have. :smokin

Shaq is being his old dominating self...
19 minutes, 7 points, 4 turnovers and 4 fouls.

has brutalis started to proclaim that he meant the pistons would lose to the nets all along yet?

Just want some opinions on this... are Heat fans the most dilusional fans in the NBA? I just went to look at some of their message boards and the views they have on their players (pre game 1) are sooooo out of touch with reality. Some still feel that Shaq is still in his prime and has been saving himself for the playoffs when that honestly doesn't seem probable. At the same time they think that Shaq is in his prime... they think that Wade is by far the MVP

I haven't been to their boards since last years ECF. But your post accuratly displays my thoughts of them. I felt they were some of the most ignorant fans I've come across. Their knowledge of their team and the league was fairly pathetic.

I think the Heat.com message boards show that, yes, they are. they had a thread about who was the best point guard in the league, and a ton of people responded with Dwayne Wade.
