Don't worry - you got the sweet timeslot tonight. The Pistons game started at 7PM local time, or about an hour before 99% of the Pistons' playoff games at the Palace on weekdays.

WHOA. I just checked the box-score. Is that right? Cavs have scored only 40 points......and it's already 4 minutes into the THIRD quarter? :wow

That can't be right....

Cleveland may not hit 70 points tonight, this looks really bad. Just their body language says that the game is over and they're waiting to go back home.

Are the Pistons really this good....or are the Cavs just that bad? I'm impressed with the lockdown on Lebron James. :wow

You'd think that the greatest player of all time would at least be able to will his team within 20 of the Pistons :lol

It's a little of both. People want to say how terrible the East is.....and they are correct that the East does not compare to the West overall.....But Cleveland ended the season on a 14-3 winning streak. Cleveland has beaten Detroit, San Antonio, Dallas, Miami etc etc.

But they are still not on our level.

I basically don't think everyone realizes how good the Pistons are playing right now. Other than Dallas and the Spurs, I'd expect similiar beatdowns against anyone.

The Pistons are seriously 'on a mission.'

Tonight LeBron decide to join the rest of the Cav offense in the night off.

Bad as the Wiz are, I can't believe they would have looked as bad as this vs. Detroit.

That's the regular season. Playoffs are a whole different level. Cavs are a little inexperienced in that area.

But you're right, Pistons do seem like they're on a mission. Every single time I've seen a Piston player interviewed, they always mention how "Game 7 of last year still left a bad taste in their mouths."

Larry Hughes is quite overrated. This was the guy that was supposed to put the Cavs over the top this season and finally bring some help for Lebron????

Once they lockdown LBJ....That's all the Cavs have got....

It's over for the Cavs....

I sure was hoping they would at least give Detroit a run for their money....

But I guess what we are "witnessing" is Lebron heading for the fishing hole...

Lebron needs to drive to the basket and get Wallace or Prince in foul trouble. He's settling for jumpshots too much.

Lebron is a good guy. He's not a talker like a lot of other nba players. He just wants to play.

:tu Props to Lebron for for his brilliance play in the second half. He single-handedly brought the Cavs back into the game. While his team-mates continue to ruin his hard work.

Pistons have done that often this season. They think they have a switch they can just flip on. More often than not, they do though. I'm sure Pistons will pull out the win. But it's nice that Cavs are finally coming back and giving them a run for their money. They looked ridiculous out there, being down 20 again. :tu

It's 8 fucking 40 if I miss one second of the Spurs game cause Lames doesn't know how to roll over and play dead cause this series was over before it started. I will be very pissed off.

Pistons were basically throwing up a wall of three players against LeBron in the first half. Cleveland has figure out how to position their players so Prince and the Wallaces can't all be sitting on him. Even doubled he still doing a good job.

mmmm. Is it possible if Nash was a Cav, they would be a little better? :smokin

Pistons took a nap, that's about it. The Pistons play at 1/2 speed when they're up 15-20 points. It usually takes some hot shooting to really blow a game open.

Bad as the Wiz are, I can't believe they would have looked as bad as this vs. Detroit.

If memory serves me correctly, the Wizards took 3 out of 4 from Detroit this past season.
I truly think that Washington would've given the Pistons a more compelling contest. It might not as been as "sexy" as LeBron vs. the Pistons, but who cares?
Screw Stern and ABC and what they want. Those asshats won't be happy until they get the Lakers/Knicks matchup that they've been wanting for the the better part of eternity. As long as the Spurs and Pistons are playing the best ball in the league, they'll NEVER get their prayers answered.

^Nope, the Wizards won all 3. The first was in double OT in November, the second was in March when the Pistons were on a bit of a slide, and the third was the last game of the season when they rested their starters and Washington had to win in order to take the 5th spot.
