Blame the refs, blame the Spurs poor shooting, hell blame the damn Coyote if you want to.

But the real reason for the loss last nite is their inability to properly defend the oldest play in the book. It looked like a fucking layup line out there.

Memo to Spurs: If you are going to continue to switch on the pick and roll, STAY with the man that HAS THE BALL until he gets rid of it!!!

I swear to God I can't count the number of times Dallas would run this simple play out top. The Spurs would switch off, then Howard/Harris/Terry/Stackhouse would pause for a moment before starting their drive and sure as shit SA's defenders would try and switch back to their original man and by that time Dallas had a wide open path to the basket which resulted in a layup or foul. Michael Finley, in particular just got abused numerous times by switching off, picking up the man w/the ball then leaving him and going back to his man.
