That's a good pickup for you guys. Lots of talent in this state and it's good to see him decide to attend college here instead of across the border somewhere.

The degree to which AHF ever claims to be sure about something is usually the degree to which you can be confident that the opposite is true.

Congrats to Damion James. It only took him thirty games and three referees to have a decent game.

check the statbook hes had 3 straight good games, how are a&ms freshmen doing this year?

Aggie Hoopsfan
03-01-2007, 01:05 AM
A&M's freshmen suck. I mean, they only stepped up and helped win the game in College Station when the referees fouled out half of A&M's team for that one as well :rolleyes

mookie2001

so then they do have a brighter future than texas'- i still cant believe joe jones fouled out!

I can't believe it either. I mean, that was probably only the biggest bonus for the officials tonight from Red McCombs :rolleyes

Augustin is going to be a stud. So will Sloan and Davis from A&M. Good for them. And if they took anything from tonight, it's that they will have to win playing eight on five in Austin for the rest of their college career.

Come on, don't become a crybaby ref basher just because your team lost. Take it and move on. This game shouldn't have gone to OT. The freshman mistakes and Law's brilliance kept AM alive longer than they should have been. I was sitting 10 feet from the action - great game.

I'm not crying. I knew we were going to get screwed tonight, just didn't expect it to be that bad. 25 fouls on A&M, 10 on tu in the second half and the overtimes. Yep, fairly officiated game :rolleyes

your players play thuggish basketball, therefore they foul a lot more than other teams. i really don't know what's so suprising about the foul disparity.

^Weak ass shit blaming refs for a loss. Man up and deal with it, don't take the easy way out.

This is such a myth. Yeah, we play hard nosed defense, but tu is actually averaging more fouls per game than A&M.

But hey, it sounds good when we get whistled for even violating Durant's 3 feet of personal space...

I was an impartial observer last night, and yeah I gotta say, Durant was getting the benefit of a few really really ticky-tack calls. Especially in overtime.

Great game tho.
