I was considering going to see it tonight. Any recommendations/ thoughts?

I saw it that weekend it opened. There was a lot I didn't know about 9/11 that I learned while watching it. I'm a cryer so I sobbed alot during the ending so if you're like me bring some tissue.

It is really good so you should go see it tonight.

I haven't seen it, but RV is moderately funny, especially if you've ever been on a cross-country RV trip.

Yea, I'm a big time crier too when it comes to movies. That's why I think I'll just wait to see that one when it comes out on DVD. Flight 93 was the one that crashed near me in Pittsburg I believe...the one that was headed for the Pentagon, but the passengers diverted?

I saw the one on cable. That one is equally as good but United 93 has the actual people from that day at the Air Control Center (or whatever it's called).

i just got backfrom the movies awhile ago. i saw "Silent Hill" it was aight movie.

I just got home from Flight 93 I was disappointed in it.

I was much more moved by the television version.

I thought the cinema did a shoddy job when it came to the passengers. The only reason I knew who any of them were was because I remembered from the television version.


While the cinema version may have been slightly more factually informative, I found the television version to be a better tribute.

But that is just one girl's opinion.

For those of you wondering about content- there were a few bloody scenes that I had to turn away from. With the exception of those and they were brief, the film was not scary.
The reviews had me expecting worse than what it was, and I am sensitive to suspense and violence.

If anything this should be mandatory viewing for all american people.

Remind people how it was on that day.


And it wasn't headed for the pentagon, supposedly it was for the Capitol building or the White House.

And this guy was also killed as part of the 911 attacks. He was the CIA's best contact in Afganistan. A man who fought against the Soviets and had deep ties to America.

I saw it and was very moved. Not for entertainment purposes at all. No clapping at the end..we all just walked out in silence. HIGHLY recommend it. Way better than the TV version.

I could not watch it in the theater...The DVD was not much easier....It took me several attempts to get through it....

An interesting film on DVD is Paradise Now.... (http://adorocinema.cidadeinternet.com.br/filmes/paradise-now/paradise-now-poster02.jpg)It takes you through the last couple days of the lives of two young terrorists... (It actually is very well made & easier to watch than United 93)....
