Castaway was not bad!!!

Forrest Gump, his performance was great, but I just didn't like the movie. I'm probably the only one...

You aren't the only one. Gump is on my list of top 10 most hated movies.

I think Castaway sucked too though.

How about ..

The Money Pit
Joe versus the Volcano
That Thing You Do (Is that the name of it? I went to the premiere. The party was good but I think the movie sucked)

Castaway
You've got mail, was ok but not horrible.
Castaway would be a hard movie to be the star in. You had no interaction with other people so I give Hanks "thumbs up" on that!

The Ladykillers suffered from a poorly thought out script, it was really bad. But Hank's role was pretty good.

I agree with most of the choices. I just hope that we don't add "The Da Vinci Code" to the list. I loved the book, I hope they didn't mess up the movie.

what????

Angel might like it, he plays an Eastern European with a good accent.

That's what made the movie.

I agree that the book is always better. But that doesn't mean the movie has to suck. It can still be good, cus the book in this case was badass.

We still have a local business named after that. Go there on Sunday morning and years of dried puke lavish it's parking lot (Club Joe's Volcano).

I didn't see Volunteers but I heard it wasn't Tom's usual top shelf work.

Road To Perdition was one of those "loved it" or "hated it" movies.

I liked You've Got Mail because I adore chick flicks...and that was a pretty big one. :lol

Joe v. The Volcano was by far the worst.

I don't laugh at the Money Pit anymore, because these days it hits too close to home.

I can;t really pick a shitty Tom hanks movie because no matter how bad the writing - Tom's performance pulls the movie out of the crapper.

Tom Hanks movies that weren't that great btui I still liek and will watch:
you've got mail
lady killers
from the earth to the moon
turner and hooch
nothign in common

I LOVED road to perdition, cast away (but if anyone else had been i nthat movie it would've sucked donkey ass), the burbs, the money pit, Philedlphia, the terminal, band of brothers (wow- beyond good)

I unfortunately was a victim of watching the terminal. (Someone you may or may not know who is frequently linked to me picked it out.) In the terminal, Tom Hanks essentially lives in an airport for a little while. That's pretty much the story. It wasn't person X's fault though, X just picks out horrible movies that I eventually fall asleep watching.

He didn't act in it, but he had a major role in producing Band Of Brothers which is the most awesome show HBO has ever kicked out. I think he even directed one of the episodes.

Dragnet sucked.

Agreed; Dragnet was a product of its time and could never be remade unless it went retro. Same goes for Car 54 Where are you? That remake should have never been made. But as Al Lewis once said, films like this pay the mortgage. :smokin
