The officiting was fine, IMO, the Cavs didn't get any calls that other home teams don't get. The Pistons just couldn't stop the Cavs down the stretch and didn't turn up the intensity the way they needed to in order to get the victory.

I posted in another thread I called james out when he was shooting 33% and hten he got hot
he had 8 points then

what was he waiting for? cavs needed his scoring and
he was 1 for 4 on threes
he just hit the last one and it mattered the most

Cavs definately got the calls, but the Pistons didnt even show up. They do this every series.

I doesn't matter when it comes or what happens. It's all about the W

Pistons don't sweep teams. This is no surprise.

That said, I was about ready to throw something at the screen the way Musberger was drooling over "the Chosen One"....I know it shouldn't surprise me, but jesusHchrist they were layin' the Bron-love on awfully thick.

Close but Sheed stayed clear of him.

Refs were not great, but they weren't reason the Pistons lost.

Pistons played adequate for three quarters, then the defense was pretty bad in the fourth quarter. Did not defend the pick-and-roll effectively, and allowed way too many easy baskets in the lane.

Must come with a better effort next game.

Officiating was not the story of the game.

I like you Pistons fans. No bullshit excuses from you guys. Wish I could say the same for the majority of bitching Spurs fans.

given a larger sample size of pistons fans, i'm sure you could find plenty. i thought sheed got hosed on 2-3 calls in the 4th, but i thought the pistons would still pull it out. cavs did make their shots late.

The officiating was decent in this game, I think the Pistons were holding back. They had an answer for every cav shot until the fourth, when it seemed like they just played lackadaisical
